About my home

I am dedicated to giving children the best start in life. Learning through play with activities involving creativity, awe and wonder and exploring their own ideas can develop self esteem, active learning, motivation and independence. I believe children can reach their full potential within a loving environment where they feel safe and can learn from their mistakes, try new things and think their way through problems.

Unique highlights

Key Worker experience

I have extensive knowledge on attachment, emotional literacy, behaviour and a child centred approach to learning.

Forest Child Care Association

I am committed to weekly outdoor activities where children explore the natural environment, set themselves challenges while encouraging them to learn to take their own risks.

Inclusion and diversity

I have extensive experience in SEN, including autism, speech and language delay, emotional wellbeing, PECS and some Makaton. My tiney home reflects diversity and celebrates all cultures, religions and faiths.

Healthy meals

I provide organic fruit and vegetables and nutritional home cooked vegetarian/vegan meals and snacks.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
