little daisies tiney home nursery

I have set my tiney home nursery up to be a happy place for children to thrive through praise and encouragement. I will be following the EYFS so the children in my care will learn and develop. I own my own car and most days we will go for nature walks or to the beach or zoo where the children will learn so much about the natural world. We will also have lots of outdoor play in my large, enclosed and secure garden.

About my home

I am married with two daughters and three young grandchildren.
My aim is to make my setting a very happy and caring environment and to encourage each child to thrive through their own efforts.

Each day children will learn through play (sensory and messy play), encouraging communication skills whilst enhancing the children’s fine motor skills.

Unique highlights

Healthy meals

I provide 3 excellent balanced and nutritional home cooked meals and two snacks everyday, taking into account all dietary needs. I will have a written weekly menu to show parents and carers.

Cooking lessons

Every two weeks we will have a cooking session which will involve shopping for ingredients and preparing the meal together.

Daily outings

We visit parks where children can play, exercise, enjoy the fresh air and find objects for the nature table. Children will also be able to explore the beach and visit the zoo and farm to see their favourite animals

Music time

We use music to improve children’s physical and rhythm development.

Creative learning

Children will take part in a variety of planned activities focusing around arts and crafts to support communication, team play and encourage creativity and learning through play.

Sports day

Sports activities to strengthen children’s physical, emotional and social development. These would include running, ball games, the parachute game, hula hoops, obstacle course and much more.

Childcare experience

I have 14 years experience with children of all ages gaining 8 years working at a High School and 6 years working with 4 children in a private household.
