About this home

I have set my tiney home nursery up to be a happy place for children to thrive through praise and encouragement. I will be following the EYFS so the children in my care will learn and develop. I own my own car and most days we will go for nature walks or to the beach or zoo where the children will learn so much about the natural world. We will also have lots of outdoor play in my large, enclosed and secure garden.

About our tiney childminder

I am married with two daughters and three young grandchildren.
My aim is to make my setting a very happy and caring environment and to encourage each child to thrive through their own efforts.

Each day children will learn through play (sensory and messy play), encouraging communication skills whilst enhancing the children’s fine motor skills.

Unique highlights

Healthy meals

I provide 3 excellent balanced and nutritional home cooked meals and two snacks everyday, taking into account all dietary needs. I will have a written weekly menu to show parents and carers.

Cooking lessons

Every two weeks we will have a cooking session which will involve shopping for ingredients and preparing the meal together.

Daily outings

We visit parks where children can play, exercise, enjoy the fresh air and find objects for the nature table. Children will also be able to explore the beach and visit the zoo and farm to see their favourite animals

What others are saying about this home...

Sue Green

I have known Allyson for 10 years and worked with her at a high school for 4 where she was employed as a senior classroom manager. Allyson always conducted herself very professionally always fully engaged with the students to meet all their needs. Allyson was always so supportive of the students and staff alike. Allyson also counselled children with a wide range of emotional needs and students regularly came to her for support. There were many successes amongst these and one particular case I remember a life long school refuser who started attending regularly because of Allyson’s support. Allyson is very caring who always goes above and beyond to ensure others are well looked after.

Carole & Chris Sykes-Bimsenstein

We both worked with Allyson at a high school 2007-2015. Allyson is very experienced when working with students and children. Allyson has a very calm approach. She is also extremely organised and willing to help. When working as a cover manager, her role was to take lessons in the absence of a teacher. Allyson always ensured that the work was completed by the students and she walked around the classroom to help them if needed. She was able to deal with difficult situations should the need arise and she also listened to the needs of the students. After all the lessons Allyson covered she always gave feed back to the absent teacher on how it went
