Amanda’s tiney home nursery

Amanda is simply excellent. She is highly intelligent, good humoured, endlessly patient, kind, socially aware and a delight to be around. She has been brilliant with the boys in every way. She is always positive and engaging; she sets boundaries whilst still being fun; she is kind, warm and affectionate; she is calm and sensible when under pressure. She has been involved in every aspect of caring for the children, from baby care through to helping the older boys with reading and homework. When they were toddlers/ pre-school she arranged stimulating and fun activities for them, including both projects at home and external classes. She has always encouraged the boys to love stories and games, reading to them and playing inventive games with them from a really early age. She is excellent at managing all three of the boys together (not an easy task!), despite the differences in their age and characters. She is thoughtful and imaginative, always adapting to their changing needs and interests, and finding ways of encouraging them both individually and to enjoy doing things together. In short, she has been an absolute pleasure to have in our lives, and our whole family is incredibly fond of her. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
