About our tiney childminder
I’m Celia! I am a mother to a one-year-old little girl and a former outstanding primary school teacher. I want to give the children that attend my setting all the love, fun and nourishment they need to be happy. I’d like parents/carers to feel supported through this process (because I do understand how difficult this experience can be!) and be comforted in knowing that their child is receiving just as much care and fun as they would receive at home and getting a wonderful early year’s education.

In this neighbourhood
We’re located near EL1 and EL3 bus stops and the Barking Riverside Overground. We are also a 5 minute walk from George Carey Church of England Primary School. I provide school drop-offs and pick-ups and I am quite flexible, so please do ask if you have any queries.
There is a local park nearby and we are within reach of the River Thames too, so there are lovely things to see and do right on our doorstep!

My son had a wonderful time with Celia and her little girl. They played and did so many activities which were tailored to his preferences. For example, he loves playing with vehicles so they set up a tuff tray with diggers etc for him to play with and he loved it!

She made sure to create a fun environment, where my children were able to express themselves. Celia helped prepare my children for school by doing activities, that were creative, fun and most of all educational. My children loved being under her care, they would run in with excitement everytime they saw her. Seeing their reactions everytime , made it easy for me to believe and trust that I was leaving them in good hands. It was basically a second home for my children.
