About my home

Both Tom and I set up our home nursery to welcome everyone into our home. We want the children to feel safe, valued and loved. We aim to give children the opportunity to be independent and to give them a voice and we are both so excited about the activities we plan for the children. We aim to give them something they can get excited about everyday they arrive, such as music sessions, messy play, story times, outdoor play, trips to local parks and much more.

Unique highlights

Music and the arts

Tom and I have a lot of musical experience and I love to create anything I can. Children can learn the values of the arts while having so much fun. It’s endless. In our home nursery, children explore different instruments from different cultures, learn new songs and paint the world as they see it. Music and the arts bring joy and colour into our lives and we want to share it with the children we look after.

Trip van

Tom drives the children around in our mini bus to explore their interests further. We arrange trips to local farms, beaches and the local sea life centre.

High quality meals

Tom and I love to cook good, healthy meals. The children get involved with the cooking and explore different dishes from around the world. We can also adapt to any dietary requirements

Life at a tiney home nursery

tiney family pack

Want a flavour of what you can expect when you sign up with one of our tiney childminders? Have a look through our family pack, which should answer your big questions about all things tiney, from our education philosophy to how we make money - and lots more besides.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
