About our tiney childminder
Hello, my name is Emma and I am a mum of two boys, a 4.5 year old and a 4 month old. I have worked in childcare for 15 years and the boys keep my knowledge and skills up to date, giving me plenty of practice in providing the best possible care. As a family, we love being busy, so we like to get out and about for walks and visiting the local area. Or you can find us being creative indoors with arts and crafts or loose parts. Our imaginations are our best resource.

Experienced Early Years Provider
I have been working with children and their families for over 15 years. I was a nanny for 13 years and in that time looked after newborns to 12 year olds, worked for families of many nationalities and built amazing bonds with them all. Recently, I worked in a large day nursery as the Toddler Room Leader and Third in Charge working with a wonderful team to look after a number of children.

I love cooking, and eating, so always cook delicious, well balanced meals with fresh ingredients.
Dedicated Playroom
At Little Badgers we have transformed our conservatory into a wonderful playroom with many resources and opportunities to explore and learn. We have a cosy reading corner, construction zone with loose parts, small and large world play helping develop those wild imaginations and a mark making area for all things creative. We also have a lovely garden with a childrens play area including mud kitchen, swing, slide and trampoline.

In this neighbourhood
I live by a large heath in Maidstone, surrounded by woodlands and a play park, giving us lots of opportunity to explore. It is a short drive to many local parks, shops, library, childrens centres and play groups.

My 20 month old son has just started coming here. He’s never been left with anybody so I had the biggest fear leaving him but he absolutely loves Emma and her home! She has put me at ease from the start from settles to lunches (he’s dairy intolerant). She makes sure his favourite things are at the ready and she always has invitations to play set up. Her home is spacious and really organised with labelled picture stickers on drawers etc. You can tell how much she enjoys working with children and how experienced she is. I cannot praise / thank her enough for being his childminder ❤️
