Here at Shooting Stars Tiney Home Nursery, we provide a warm, nurturing and enabling environment which offers the best start in your child’s learning journey. With over 16 years in the childcare profession, our aim is to empower and support each young person through a child centred approach to learning. Together with you the parent/ carer we will work in partnership to promote your child's development through quality play based activities and experiences.

About our tiney childminder

My tiney home is a place where all children are welcome. The space is incredibly inclusive with all resources and activities carefully thought out to reflect the individual needs of all children who attend. Meals are planned and home cooked on site with a 3 week menu rotation which is shared with all grown ups. Our outdoor space is accessible at the back of the tiney home. Here the children are able to get the same great experiences, with the benefit of the natural world at their fingertips.

We are located in the village of Wixams in Bedford, and so fortunate to have great amenities such as local shops, playground and the village hall on our doorstep. Lakeview Primary School is the closest school to us, however we offer care for children attending Wixams Tree Primary School too.

Grace is super sweet with kids, the way she talks to them helps them learn new words, there are lovely educational and instrumental toys. Cooked food for lunch which is super because I love my little one to have cooked food for lunch. I love the fact that I can be there for the settling in sessions. Gives me a peace of mind that my little one is enjoying herself because she truly does. If my little one don’t feel too comfortable she is quiet, but here after 5 mins of shyness, she just starts babbling away, playing, walking up and down… Like her true-self at home. A real home to home experience! 🥰❤️ On the second settle in in session Mimi was already giving out hugs to Grace, which again shows how comfortable she felt and how much she loved her soon after they met. Can’t recommend her enough!
