About our tiney childminder
At Murray House my main aim is to create a space where you would be happy to leave your child. As a mom myself I know how hard that can be so I've placed a lot of emphasis on the home from home feel and I want that for both the caregivers/parents and the children. One of my biggest aims here is to encourage messy/creative play as I know all too well sometimes we don't want glitter and playdough in the home. I work to encourage the messy play here so you don't have to 😊
Unique highlights
Love of outdoors
As a family we often spend a lot of our time outdoors whether that be to play on the swings, kick around a football or just to go on a nature walk. My aim is to get all children out every day for at least one hour (weather permitting).
We love food!
Although I will never become a Michelin star chef, I do enjoy to cook and especially trying new recipes and using new ingredients. I like to allow the children to express themselves in creating food and would love it if the children had something that they would like to share from home, i.e. maybe a dish that a relative makes or something from a different culture.
Furry friend
I believe that children can learn a lot about emotions by spending time with animals. We have a pet dog called Loki who is a little fluffball who is full of energy and loves children. Under my supervision I will encourage children to pet him, play with him and weigh out his food during feeding time all whilst ensuring appropriate hygiene.
