Mrs Bee's is a warm, welcoming and nurturing home from home environment in Chapel-en-le-Frith, providing quality and affordable childcare.

Hello, I am Jordanna. 👋 (That's Jor-danna.)
I live in Chapel-en-le-Frith with my Husband, George, our little Daughter, Alba and our three furry moggies.
I have a background in teaching and social care. I have worked as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery and loved it! I loved it so much that it has inspired me to open my own 'Tiney' nursery.
I have carefully curated spaces within our home to promote a rich learning experience, inclusive for all young children.
I am a qualified Art and Design Teacher. Art is a strong passion of mine and I will incorporate creativity into activities; learning through fun and messy play.. the messier, the better! It is important for children to be able to express themselves freely. Pablo Picasso once said, "every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once they grow up." What a beautiful and inspiring quote. Quite often as adults we unlearn many things which we learnt in our youth, i.e how to draw, how to express ourselves.
Due to the low ratio from adult to children, your Little Bee will be provided with a bespoke early years education taught through a creative Montessori inspired approach, following The Early Years Curriculum. My ratios will always be small to ensure the needs of each and every child is met. This will positively impact your child and their experience, here at Mrs Bee's. They will enjoy having fun, creating life-long memories with myself and young children close in age and learning through play. 💛
We are a pet household with three furry moggies and it helps provide learning opportunities on how to appropriately care for indoor cats. Children can learn valuable life-long skills from being surrounded by and having contact with animals and pets. However, it is important for certain procedures to be put in place. It is crucial that the rules are followed to ensure the safety of the children and you will be able to refer to my 'Pet Policy and Procedure'.

As a parent, a priority is finding a setting that will nurture, care, encourage and embrace your child and their needs. I feel like Mrs Bee couldn't do a better job of the above. My husband and I are literally blown away by the service she provides and the outstanding level of care. Our son has the best time and has literally flourished before our eyes. He is a little whirlwind and requires constant risk assessment as an intrepid explorer and Mrs Bee has embraced this side of him completely. Not only has he engaged in amazing activities, visited playgroups, had tonnes of fun, he's also eaten amazing, nutritional home-made meals and even had his hand in making some pudding, too. The hive is a happy, home from home setting and Mrs Bee is a truly wonderful Childminder 🐝💛 ⚫️

We’re so happy to have found Mrs Bee to care for our daughter. She started at Mrs Bee's Tiney nursery when she was ten months old, and straight away it felt like we were leaving her in very safe hands. Jordanna does brilliant, stimulant activities with the children. She carefully plans every day, and updates us regularly with fantastic photos. Our daughter loves being with Jordanna. Mrs Bee's is her home from home.
