About my home

Every day is a learning day in my tiney home nursery! The experience of raising my own children and a passion for supporting others in my children's local school is the foundation on which I've built my homely setting. Every day, children have the opportunity to participate in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, both in my secure back garden and further afield in local parks - I grew up in Ghana, which gave me a love of nature I enjoy passing on to the children in my care! Activities cover all areas of a child's early development, and I work with individual children and their families to ensure their specific needs are met. We love messy play, minibeast adventures in Victoria Park, trips to the library, storytime and eating delicious, homecooked meals together.

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.

I am close to Victoria Park, where there is a thriving community centre offering sports and activities such as cooking.

Hackney City Farm is also close and children love exploring and learning about the animals who live there. A little further away we have a wonderful adventure playground.
