About my home

I aim for children to thrive and feel valued offering one-to-one attention in a calm, kind, nurturing and fun setting. We have monthly themes which we link helping children to build on the knowledge and skills they have to achieve their next steps. I'm a business graduate and my background is English. I'm passionate about reading, singing, culture, dancing, food, travel, animals and gardening. A Love For Reading Book

As I come from an Anglo Indian Family my mother tongue is English.I love to read books and have a big collection of children's books that is always growing. I love reading with the children and seeing a child absorbed in a story. I also work together to create stories and funny rhymes and songs.

A Mix If Approach

At LMBT SWAN'S tiney Home nursery there is a real mixture of activities, resources and approaches. I believe that every child learns differently and should be encouraged and feel confident to explore and express their unique interests. We have animal toys, natural material, real world items, loose part play, cars,Construction blocks, art and craft, a cosy home corner, junk modelling, party time play.tuff trays, sensory play, water play and all sorts of mark making opportunities, gardening, mud play, messy play and so much more covering seven areas of EYFS development. Learning about different languages, cultures, religious, festivals and food is also an important part of what we do.

A high light at our home nursery is the two cats as they are a part of our family and would like them to be a part of your too. They are so friendly and love to be cuddled and stroked. They visit the vet regularly to keep our family and friends safe and sound.

Kindness Is Key

At LMBT SWAN'S tiney Home nursery kindness and respect for others are two key components of the day. Children feel warmly welcomed and cared for playing and learning develops positive relationships for their growth.
