I take the children on adventure’s to The Chase Nature Reserve, Beam Valley country park and also Harrow lodge park. We also have trips out to Paradise wildlife park, Clacton on sea, Canvey island, Colchester zoo and varies soft play location’s these are just a few of many places we visit.

About our tiney childminder
I’ve worked as a childminder for the past 19 months and I enjoy every second. The children arrive excited every morning to see what activities I have set up. I enjoy watching the children grow and develop in all the areas of the EYFS. I offer breakfast and a cooked lunch, I will offer a light meal of an evening if needed. I live with my husband and 4 grown up son’s. My oldest son is disabled and fully dependent on a wheelchair. I am a full inclusive setting.

Special needs experience in physical disabilities
I have cared for my disabled son, since birth, he is now 27. I have a full wheelchair accessible home, with ramps to both front and back entrances and a ceiling track hoist in the bathroom.
I have a huge 90ft by 30ft back garden
My garden is child friendly and has a variety of toys and also has a small obstacle course made from tyres. As well as a sand & water tray and a tuff tray which is changed on a daily basis, a mud kitchen and more. The children love being outside come rain, snow or sunshine
Messy play is a favourite of mine
We do some form of messy/sensory play everyday, whether it’s painting with our hands or splashing coloured water, or playing with cooked pasta. No two days are the same. The children absolutely love it. Especially playing with the mud kitchen and planting seeds. The list is endless and it never gets boring.

In this neighbourhood
I have Beam Valley nature reserve at the end of my road, less than a 3 minute walk. I also have old Dagenham park within a 15 minute walk, the chase nature reserve is a 30 minute walk.
We are constantly out and about exploring these places, going on treasure hunts and drawing on the paths with chalks, splashing in puddles or feeding the ducks.
