About my home

I love seeing how children light up with curiosity and wonder at new things. I loved story time as a child and the magic of whole new worlds opening up through books has stayed with me. I strive to bring the same opportunities to the children who join my setting.

I'm mum to two girls. I opened my tiney home nursery to combine my love of nuturing young children with supporting the development of my children. My background is in healthcare management and I've used my knowledge here to create a warm, clean and safe space to support children flourish.

Unique highlights

I'm an experienced early years educator

Alongside bringing up two girls, I've taught in and run nurseries in Nigeria. I'm also the second born child of 20, so taking care of young children has always been a part of my life.

I share my love of baking and food with children

Baking and cooking is an opportunity to explore different cultures, develop numeracy, literacy and fine motor skills - not to mention developing a broad and varied palate.

Background in healthcare management

I have an MSc in International Health Services & Hospital Management (LSBU, UK, 2020), as well as degree in Urban Planning (ABU, Nigeria, 2000)

After school care available for pupils of Hackney New Priamry School

I offer a pick up service from this local primary schol that is within walking distance from me.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.

I am on the outer edge of the De Beauvoir Estate in the heart of De Beauvoir town.

It's surrounded by lots of outdoor play areas and an outstanding children’s centre with great activities. A new leisure centre is being built, which on completion (2021) will give us many new sports and leisure activities to engage the children.
