About my home

As a mother of two inquisitive, imaginative girls, creating fun-filled activities that spark children's imaginations while aiding their development is second nature to me. Your child can look forward to baking, cooking, singing (while baking and cooking!), taking nature walks, dancing in the rain and much more. You can be assured that your child will receive good quality childcare in a safe and welcoming environment. I have over four years experience, having worked with orphans in South Africa, as a children’s leader in my community and for two years at a nursery.

Unique highlights

We encourage independence

Children have full access to resources and are encouraged to help themselves to drinking water, prepare and choose their own healthy snack and lay the table. They will get to help prepare a meal and take care of their environment.

Montessori influences

Your child will have access to lessons, activities and materials that build on their skill set, allowing them to progress in their development as an individual within a structured environment, in line with the Montessori ethos.

Love for learning

We believe that when learning is fun and inspiring, it becomes a joy. We aim to cultivate a love for learning by providing fun and adventurous activities.

Healthy eating lessons to last a lifetime

We invite children to participate in the preparation of healthy, well-balanced, home-cooked meals using seasonal ingredients.

Outdoor space

We spent lots of time in our local parks and play areas, which are a short walk away.

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
