With a variety of toys, activities, arts and crafts and outdoor trips, children will be able to see and do many things that aid towards all aspects of child development following the guidelines of the EYFS.
My tiney home is an environment welcoming to children and families and a place for children to build their character in many exciting and different ways! There is a wide range of activities to engage the children with arts and crafts, sensory play, fun games and learning adventures to encourage the exploration of the world outside!
I feel it’s important to be a part of the child’s world and imagination and bring it to life! Their minds and creations are endless and can teach us a thing or two!
My parents are deaf so I have been brought up using sign language as my main use of communication with my parents. Sign language can be used as an easy communication method to a young child to create understanding into what they may need.
I will bring as much of the child’s individual interests into the nursery and incorporate them into each developmental stage to help make them feel comfortable and confident
With the use of my car I am able to take the children to many different places to be able to explore the outdoors. With trips to the farm, the woods, the zoo and so much more!

I have a large country park that has a large duck pond which is located a 2 minute walk from the house. A little further up the road is Ashburton park which has a large area to explore. There is a library, wooded area for exploration and a children’s play group.
