A good sized enclosed lawned garden is to the rear of the house and we have a very friendly cat named Jasper.
As a qualified early years teacher, I pride myself on the play based educational activities and opportunities I provide, giving children a love of learning.
As a qualified teacher of early years and key stage 1, working in childcare for over 10 years and having my own children now aged 3 and 7 I have a wide range of experiences that I am looking forward to using in planning an engaging range of activities for children.
I love cooking and seeing children enjoy trying new recipes, and see the pride on their faces when they help to cook/bake new snacks and meals.
We have a friendly family cat who loves having a fuss made of him. Children will be giving the opportunity to learn how to care for and engage with a pet in a safe way and experience the love he gives in return.
My own daughter suffers with a dairy allergy so I have plenty of experience of providing safe, tasty food for her.
With children I have previously nannied for having a variety of speech and language delays and English as an additional language (one of which speaking no English when I started with her), I pride myself on following speech and language therapists guidance on activities to promote these skills, as well as tailoring activities to make them inclusive to children of all abilities.
