About my home

At The Children’s tiney home nursery we have a high standard approach to learning, with daily activities for the children to explore the different areas of the EYFS. A big part of our day is centred around outings whether it’s to the local parks or our trips to the library on a Wednesday. We frequently visit playgroups and enjoy walks through covered tree areas. I also provide the children with meals prepared at home, and use of a community garden showing them how food is grown.

Unique highlights

Library Wednesdays 📚

It is a staple within my home with my own children. Our weekly trips to the library where the children can choose books to bring back to our tiney home and have a feel for different stories within the library and different cultures.

We have two playgroups within walking distance from our tiney home. This is great for socialising with children their own ages as well as varied ages which is a bonus!

Take home fun

Once a week we have a dedicated ‘take home’ activity for the children varying from art to cooking or photographs they can have as a keepsake.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
