My names Tracey, I'm 26 and I live with my partner and our beautiful 1 year old son! Here at Mama Bear's I only offer the best care for your little cubs and I aim to treat them how I treat my own little bundle of joy! We love being outdoors and live within walking distance to 3 play parks and an open grass area where we will enjoy taking nature walks and getting lots of fresh air! With transport links just around the corner we can go on some fun days out at soft play, local groups etc.

About our tiney childminder
As a mom myself, I know it can be hard to leave your child, which is why at Mama Bear's, I pride myself in making sure I create a home from home, warm, nurturing environment that welcomes everyone! With 8 years of experience in childcare, I aim to use different approaches that I have learnt along the way to help the children learn, grow and develop. From messy play to outdoor adventures to cooking up some delicious treats, I will make sure every day is as fun as can be for your little ones.
Unique highlights
Natural Spaces
My tiney home nursery is situated on a canal and within a couple minutes walk of a wide open grass and forested area. The children will love doing nature walks, learning new things about their environment and finding new things to do whilst out and about.
Messy Play
Make sure you pack your child extra clothes because at Mama Bear's we are not afraid to get messy whilst learning and developing on new skills through messy and sensory play. Gloop, sand, paint, glitter.. the messy stuff you might not normally want in your own home.. we have it all here!
Range of Approaches
With 8 years of experience, I have learned that just one approach to learning doesn't work best. That's why at Mama Bear's the children will be learning through a range of approaches such as the curiosity approach, project approach, the Montessori method, child initiated and adult led play, Reggio Emilia approach, forest schools and Steiner approaches.
