We love Tracey's attentive focus on the quality of education and care at her setting; in particular, the opportunities for children to develop their communication and language through lots of talk, small world and imaginary play resources.

About Tracey

We love nothing more than getting down to a child's level and engaging in their play and development, be it at home or out and about in the local community. Our home is a nurturing one, and we are big believers in modelling positive mindsets, good behaviours and resourcefulness, even for the littlest in our care.

Regular weekly playgroups

Tracey's setting is located on a quiet road next to the gardens of St Mary Magdalene Church and short walk from Paradise Park.

There is space to leave pushchairs at the ground level and a welcoming entrance greets families on the top floor of the apartment block.

During opening hours, the living room is given over to children's play and activities. Every day a range of activities are set up to stimulate creative play across the curriculum and these always include an adult-guided activity. A selection of resources are kept at child's height to enable even the youngest crawlers to make their own independent choices during free play.

At Tracey's setting, your child will settle into a steady routine that involves a wide range of activities in the local community.

Tracey encourages the children in her care to engage in play and conversation with each other and their peers at playgroups. With her careful guidance, children will learn how to regulate their behaviours and emotions, and communicate their needs in age-appropriate ways.

Tracey provides home-cooked meals for her children, and a Friday treat at the end of the week!

At tiney we want to help children feel safe, valued and loved in their early years.
