About my home

My name is Alfonso and I’m an early years educator with 8 years of experience around Peru, Spain and now the UK. I came here as an Au Pair for a year, taking care of three children (8, 6 and 4) and a baby. I used to work in a big nursery chain for two years until our son was born so I decided to become a childminder. The setting is an eco-friendly space and I’ll implement the use of baby sign with the children and help with the potty training.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
