About my home

Mama’s tiney home nursery is run by me, Shantele Morris. My setting promotes equality and diversity; foreign languages are part of our learning and I welcome all cultural differences in my home.

There's so much to do in our local area including trips to the library, children's centre and park. At home, the focus is on fun, creative learning. Meals are home-cooked and eaten together.

Unique highlights

Languages

Foreign languages are explored as part of our learning.

Local Library

We take twice-weekly trips to Perivale library.

Local children centre

The local children's centre has fanstatic activities such as dance, arts and crafts and music for children to enjoy.

During covid

Mama’s Tiney Home has a variety of books children can read while the libraries are closed. We have a local park and green space for outings, along with plenty of fun learning and creative ideas to keep everyone engaged.

Mama’s covid Management

First meetings can be carried out over video call, including a virtual tour. You will then be invited to the setting with your little one after clearing the covid symptoms checklist. I will wear a mask and protective clothing at all times while meeting with you and caring for your child. There is a 'no mask no entry' policy for adults for the safety of us. It is optional if you would prefer your child to wear a mask as well.

tiney family pack

Want a flavour of what you can expect when you sign up with one of our tiney childminders? Have a look through our family pack, which should answer your big questions about all things tiney, from our education philosophy to how we make money - and lots more besides.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
