Inbound Sales Manager
Location: UK based/hybrid
We’re looking for an Inbound Sales Manager to help us grow our community by driving customer acquisition and improving commercial outcomes across the funnel.
Your Role
As our Inbound Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving success across the entire sales and acquisition journey, ensuring prospective childminders move smoothly from initial interest to full activation. You’ll be responsible for owning the performance strategy, processes, and outcomes that directly impact conversion and overall growth.
The majority of your time will be focused on improving and managing the performance of our Advisor team. You’ll act as both a coach and a strategist working closely with advisors to develop skills, increase productivity, and deliver consistently excellent results.
This role is central to accelerating growth, improving efficiency and helping more brilliant educators join the Tiney community.
Location: Hybrid (UK-based) 2 days per week in our Central London office. You’ll also join us in person for off-sites and team building throughout the year.
You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing and Education, making sure every improvement creates real impact for prospective educators and the business.

What you’ll be doing
Sales Performance and Strategy
Drive performance across the acquisition funnel, from lead through to commitment
Identify opportunities to improve conversion, outreach impact and customer engagement
Design initiatives that accelerate growth while aligning to our mission
Team Coaching and Enablement
Lead and support sales advisors and support staff to hit targets confidently
Set clear goals, coach for performance and build capability across the team
Introduce and maintain playbooks that support consistency and quality
Data and Insights
Use dashboards and performance metrics to track success and shift priorities
Spot patterns, test improvements and share learnings openly
Own reporting that drives decision-making and accountability
Process Improvement
Build structure and efficiency into the sales journey
Identify blockers and introduce better ways of working
Iterate quickly, nothing is sacred if a better way exists
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with Product, Operations and Marketing to improve lead flow and customer experience
Ensure messaging, processes and tools support conversion at every stage
Bring customer insight back into the business to shape future improvements
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who’s mission-driven, commercially savvy and energised by improving performance.
Must-haves:
Sales performance or revenue operations experience
2+ years in sales management, performance coaching or commercial operations
Experience of a high volume sales funnel and hitting target consistently.
Experienced selling and coaching in a consultative sales process.
Team leadership
Experience managing or coaching a sales or advisory team, including setting targets and driving performance.
Process-oriented approach
Comfortable using dashboards, KPIs and insights to guide action
Skilled at building structure, improving workflows and enhancing playbooks
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in education, early years or b2c.
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
What success looks like:
Improved conversion rates from initial interest to commitment.
Advisor team consistently hitting or exceeding commitment target.
Streamlined, data-driven performance management processes.
