We are running a summer referral competition where we will be rewarding our top referrers some big prizes. All offer commitments signed on or between 17/06/2024 and 31/08/2024 which qualify as a referral will count towards this competition. See below for what qualifies as a referral.
Who is eligible to refer?
Tiney’s childminder referral program is open to any:
- Registered tiney childminder
- Tiney trainee
- Tiney consultant
- Parent with an active childcare enrolment
What are the prizes?
Our top referrer (the person who refers the most trainees to join and start training with tiney) will win £500 to be deposited in their tiney wallet (for trainees and childminders) or childcare credit (for parents). No cash alternatives will be given.
Our 10 runners up will be able to choose one of the below prizes (subject to availability):
- A Yoto mini bundle (including a Yoto mini player and a bundle of cards of your choice) - worth £100!
- A National Trust family membership for 1 year (valid for 2 adults and their children) - worth £159!
- A Mud + Bloom sibling subscription box for 6 months (provides over 5 craft activities and materials for 2 children every month) - worth £119!
A minimum of 2 successful referrals is required to be eligible for any of the prizes (which means two people who have signed offer commitments to start training with tiney and quoted the referrers referral code in their initial sales call). In the case of a draw, we will have a prize draw for the winner(s).
What qualifies as a referral for this competition?
In order to be eligible, your referee must join tiney and provide a valid referral code before they pay their joining fee. They must give their referral code when booking the initial call or when speaking to an advisor on the phone. A valid code must be given before your referee pays the joining fee. The referee must be new to tiney and not already in our system (this is defined as a referee having already completed a prior call with a tiney advisor).
The referral code will be considered valid if:
- The person who provided the code is either;
a) a childminder currently registered with tiney
b) a current trainee registered with tiney, who has joined tiney’s training within the last 6 months
c) a parent with an active childcare enrolment at a tiney setting
d) a consultant working with tiney who has been issued a referral code - The childminder who provided the code should not currently be in the process of deregistration.
Valid codes allow the referee to join tiney for an upfront single payment of £180 (a 55% discount on tiney’s typical split Joining Fee of £400) and entitle the referring trainee, Childminder, Parent, or consultant, to a reward up to the value of £150.
When a referee receives payment for their first invoice as a childminder registered by tiney, the referrer will be eligible for a reward to the value of £150. If:
- The referring Childminder is currently registered with tiney, and is not in the process of deregistration.
- The referring trainee is currently in training.
- The referring parent still has an active app account with tiney.
- The tiney consultant is still an active consultant for tiney.
The value of the £150 reward may be either paid directly into a tiney wallet or may be applied as a credit on future tiney payment fees or childcare invoices. tiney reserves the right to decide on the method of reward payment.
These terms and conditions are valid for any joining fee paid after the 17th June 2024. If you referred someone before that date previous terms and conditions apply.
