In this early years setting I approach learning through child and adult led play, with a range of toys, activities and crafting materials to support and stimulate their development.

About this home
About our tiney childminder
My tiney home is set up as a home from home learning environment, inclusive of different ages and abilities. Play and fun are key in this tiney home and self expression is encouraged and supported. I have a 3 year background in child care, working within different primary schools and a year spent supporting children with Autism. My bachelor's degree in Psychology has also provided me with a deep understanding of child development and therapeutic teaching and parenting styles.

Healthy home cooking
Meals provided are all freshly prepared in house. Meal times are a prime time to learn, where children will be encouraged to learn about independence, healthy eating, and learning about the world.
Makaton
I have a qualification in Makaton for professionals. This will be utilised within this setting to assist in the development of communication and understanding of language, which is a prime area of the Early Years Statutory Framework which I follow.
Self regulation
Our tiney humans are still figuring out how to manage their big emotions. In this setting they will be supported to express their emotions and regulate them, building their tool kit to deal with these emotions as they grow.
