About my home

My background in sociology and mental health means I have a great understanding of children’s emotional development. This is a huge focus in my setting; promoting children’s independence while supporting their development is at the forefront of everything I do.

I have had previous work experience in a nursery, a school and in children’s workshops at a zoo. I'm also mum to a one-year-old.

It is very important to me to make eco-friendly and sustainable choices. I include themes on the environment and how to be more eco-friendly in my activities.

I love that the small groups in childminding naturally lead to a closer bond and understanding of each individual child. I include Montessori-aligned practices and educational objects where I can and I'm forever looking for what else I can incorporate!

Unique highlights

Ralph the dog and friends!

A friendly miniature sausage dog and a chinchilla live here.

Multicultural home

Half British/Half Lebanese home with both English and Arabic spoken.

Eco friendly

Minimisal plastic use, biodegradable baby wipes, sustainably-sourced toys from small businesses.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.

I am located right next to Oakwood Park, so most normal days involve a nice walk there to explore.

I’m also a short bus ride away from three other parks, so there are plenty of options! A soft play centre has newly opened nearby and there are two local libraries to visit.
