About our tiney childminder

Hi! I'm Devon and the childminder behind Bright Berries. I'm 30 years old, wife to my lovely husband and mommy to our two amazing young boys! I've set up my home to be an extended home for all that step foot in the door! With a family wall waiting to be filled with photos of children's family to celebrate the connections we have 🩵 I feel passionate about creating a safe, secure, engaging and nurturing environment where all children can learn whilst knowing they are loved, supported and welcome.

Trips

I really want to put to use the ability to take children out and about as this was something that was limited as a teacher. To build on life experiences, I hope to be taking children out to farms, zoos, shops and various other places

Playroom & Large Garden

The playroom has now become one of my favourite rooms of the house! It is a lovely area for the children to learn, grow and develop! In addition we have a large outdoor area with plenty of space for the children to explore and build on their physical development.

We are a short walk from George Fredrick field and also a short car journey or 20 minute walk from Sutton Park which allows for plenty of outdoor learning! We are also a 20 minute walk from the local library which I would like to visit once a week. Following on there are playgroups a short journey away to support social interaction.
