About my home

I’m Gemma, my partner and I have a little peep and two fur babies. Since becoming a parent I have been a stay at home mum for the majority of the time. I have experience working with babies and young children and would like to open my home up to other families. As a family we have so much to share with others and our little peep would enjoy making friends and caring for others.

Unique highlights

Pets

We have a cat and a dog, they’re both friendly and enjoy the energy from children. They always supervise play time to see if they can join in but only when invited.

Flexible Hours

Additional hours available upon request.

Meals and snacks

Home cooked meals and snacks are included in the fees. Where possible meals will be planned alongside the themes for the week.

Let’s get out and about

Outside time is a must, in addition to trips to the local areas and time in the garden we plan trips out to discover places further afield. Attractions, farms and events that are child friendly.

Cooking and baking

I enjoy cooking and baking, I provide opportunities for children to join in with this where possible. Meal preparation is a great way to explore foods for all ages.

Settling in sessions

I offer sessions for the family to get to know me and my home. These are tailored to suit each family.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
