About this home

A beautiful nursery setting, backing onto woodland with maximum opportunities for children to play, create and learn in a safe, secure environment with Jo Mackenzie, a highly experienced and qualified nursery/primary teacher with an NNEB as well. Jo is providing an early years setting for learning through play, with one to one and small group teaching of early learning skills, fine motor development, early writing skills, reading and maths. Jo has a holistic approach to teaching and child care.

About our tiney childminder

I am a highly experienced and qualified nursery/ primary/English/ SEN teacher with a holistic approach to child care and education. I have travelled extensively too and bring these influences into my practice too. My vision is to create a private nursery setting to enable children between the ages of 2.5 - 8, to have the opportunity to play, learn and explore in my cosy, can do, safe and secure environment, with wonderful facilities.

Woodland Tiney Nursery is set in woodland, with it’s own garden and play / nursery room. It is all newly designed and decorated in neutral colours with glitter that shimmers when the light touches it.

We back onto the Railway Walk and Fuzz (a beautiful nature reserve of woodland filled with animals and birds), which leads to the town and further walks by the river, visiting animals and birds en route.
