About our tiney childminder

I've set up my tiney home to be welcoming for all children. I want the children in my care to feel happy and confident in an environment where they can learn and develop in a way which is fun, nurturing, caring, creative, positive and safe. I have outside space but we will also go to local parks, and woods so they can learn about nature.

A happy child is a thriving child. ❤

I have over 24 years experience working with children of all ages from birth up, I also have vast twin experience.

Unique highlights

Over 24 years experience working with children

I have worked as a Nanny for a very long time, and I have vast experience working with children aged 0-5 and children ages 6 to 13. I have also worked as a Maternity Nurse, (going into their homes) and working with parents when they have had a baby - helping them with bonding and routines etc.

Sleep Training course

I have also previously completed a sleep training course.

EYFS Early Years Foundation Stage

I have completed EYFS training. But throughout my years as a Nanny helping children to learn and develop through play has been a big part. I enjoy teaching children how to write their names, recognise letters and numbers and colours.

In this neighbourhood

I am about a 15-20 minute walk from Ivybridge town centre ( depending how fast you walk). The Gold bus stops at the roundabout at the bottom of my road (walk up hill). The No 20 bus stops right outside on the main road. A short walk from Ivybridge train station. Parking on the road is fine.

Walking distance to local parks, field and woods or even onto Dartmoor behind me.
