Comfortable and warm home from home setting in a lovely safe part of town. Wraparound school care for 5+ years old. Breakfast and after school snacks provided. Lots of books and educational games available. Homework help can be offered here if you prefer to keep your weekends free.
Occasional weekends / school holidays / emergency care / babysitting may be considered. INSET and Snow Days covered.
Having recently left teaching after 30 years, I have missed spending time with young people and encouraging creativity. Realising that the childcare crisis is getting no better since I needed it myself and knowing that families can struggle with work hours clashing with school run times, I decided to train as a childminder for children aged 5 and above.

20 minute walk / 5 minute drive from local schools
20 minute walk or 5 minute journey to / from school. Our local village-type environment means that trips to the shops can be safely made on foot and there are lovely and safe parks nearby. If staying closer to home, we have a good-sized garden for outdoor fun.
