About this home

My home is on a quiet close, with two primary schools within walking distance. My home has a large secure garden which backs onto a stream and small wooded area, where we often spend our time playing and exploring. We also have a lovely local park only a 3 minute walk. I have a small setting with a home from home environment. I have two dogs who are apart of our family and the children learn how to care and respect animals through their interactions.

About our tiney childminder

I have over 20 years experience working with children! During warmer months the children have free flow from the main room into the garden. I have lots of opening ended, in the moment activities and resources are accessible for free play to encourage independence, confidence and imagination! British values are embedded into the setting to promote good manners, tolerance of others, rule of law, democracy and individual liberty!

I have the privilege of have a large garden so have plenty of space for children to explore and run freely in a secure area! The children can explore the mud kitchen, play equipment and help to take care of the fruit and vegetable plants and the flowers in the garden!

Roxy the dog

Roxy is our very friendly German shepherd dog! She loves the children and the children love her in return! The children learn to care and respect animals by having Roxy in my home!

In this neighbourhood

Grove is a village next to Wantage town! There is a square business which include a Costa, Tesco express etc behind the the shops is a lovely enclosed park which often has lots of squirrels chasing one another through the trees! There is a stream that runs at the back of the park and the children enjoy standing in the bridge to throw in sticks and watch for fish and ducks. Behind my setting is the library attached to one of the local primary schools!
