About our tiney childminder
Hi Mums and Dads! My name is Megan and I am an art making, Lego loving, cake baking, tea drinking, teacher and mumma of one. (In a nutshell😂)
I am originally from Sunny South Africa and have over 6 years of formal teaching experience in the classroom. I love all things creative and arty and love to encourage the same from the children I work with. In SA I ran an afterschool club called BrainyBrix, which was a great design and tech club working with Lego educational sets. When I moved to the UK, 3 years ago, I brought everything with me and am excited to use this equipment in my sessions too. After moving to the UK, I became an art teacher until my own little boy was born. And now my little boy and I can't wait to share our morning fun with you all!

Teaching process art is one of my favourite things to do! Children will be given the time and materials to explore a large range of art materials and techniques.
Lego Design and Tech
Lego education is a fabulous way to introduce children to early design and technology ideas. I have great early simple machine Lego sets that will get children excited about problem solving!

We have a mud kitchen, large outdoor art aisle and plenty of space to kick a ball and run around.

In this neighbourhood
We are lucky enough to have a large green space and small play park (Bellfields park on Hazel) a few minutes walk from the house. We are also in close proximity (walking distance) to a number of great Church stay and play groups, larger parks like the Stoke Park and some easy forest footpaths for safe outdoor exploration. Elm farm is a few minutes drive away for a fun outing on special occations.
