About my home

My tiney home welcomes all families. I am dedicated to giving children the best start in life. Exploring their own ideas can develop self esteem, active learning, motivation and independence. I believe children can reach their full potential in a loving, caring environment. I have a cosy home and a large garden full og learning activities and fun! I like to get out for nature walks, picnics and have some lovely educational attractions close by that the children will love to visit!

Unique highlights

My home is safe and secure. I am happy to follow a similar routine from the child's home to make them feel safe, secure and happy.

Including role play, arts and crafts, bikes, scooters and cars, messy play, sand and water play, slides, quite area for reading, swings and seesaw, mud kitchen, small world and trampoline. For lots of active learning and lots of fun!!

Trips and outings

I have a lovely local park, library and toddler groups close to my home. A short drive I have mote park: for picnics, nature walks, play ground, feeding the ducks. Additionally there is Leeds castle where we can take nature walks round the grounds and garden, have picnics, bird of pray experience. Qualifications and experience

4 years experience working with 3 month old babies to 5 year old children. Communication with parents is a top priority. From my own experiences I love to hear what my daughter has done and the activities she has enjoyed at her childminder's. As well as communication at drop off and pick up I fill in communication books each day to let parents know whick covers the following: What their child has doing through the day and what they have enjoyed, how many times they have been changed if in nappies, what they have eaten and how much, what areas of early learning that has been covered, if they have had a sleep or rest and any other key information. Observations and photos will be done through the Tiney app which parents can access.

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
