Nat Nat's tiney home nursery

A tiney home where we love to learn through play, going on adventures, cooking and being creative. We regularly visit our local parks and playgrounds, looking for seasonal treasures. We enjoy experimenting with different sensory activities and role playing in our play kitchen and shop. We enjoy mark making with different materials and arts and crafts. We love to read so try to visit our local library regularly.

About my home

I have set up my tiney home to be inclusive and welcoming for all families. We love to cook so will provide home cooked meals for little ones. We have some lovely parks nearby that we love to explore. We love reading and have lots of books that your little ones can enjoy. We have a lovely outdoor space that is going through some changes but will be available for use soon. We grow our own veggies and look forward to showing your little ones how their food grows.

Unique highlights

Multiple Languages

I speak fluent English, Turkish and a little Italian.

Multicultural Background

I am half Italian, half French and grew up in Turkey so have been brought up in a very multicultural enviroment which has influenced many things that we do in our Tiney home.

Unique Pets

We have two Royal Pythons. They are very curious and intriguing pets. They are mesmerising to watch and love to climb the plants in their tanks.

We grow some of our own vegetables

In the summer and some of the winter we grow our own fruit and veg. This is an excellent way for Children to learn about the journey of food from seed to plate. Aswell as get them to try different things.

We love recycling

What is better than using cardboard boxes and plastic bottles that need recycling to make interesting new inventions and crafts.

We love to cook from all around the world

I have had the opportunity to travel to many different countries for work and holidays and have fallen in love with some of the foods I have gotten to try. Thanks to this we love to cook and learn recipes from all over the world.

Veggie Wednesdays

We try to do our bit for the enviroment in the kitchen by dedicating at least one day a week (sometimes more) to having tasty veggie meals.

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.
