🏡 A cosy Montessori tiney home nursery 👶 mixed with Hygge, Curiosity Approach and Forest Education. 🌳 We are passionate about a child led approach to learning and love the great outdoors. Our Lovely home nursery is located in Brockley.
Opening times are: Monday to Thursday 8am -6pm.
Additional out of hours services are available upon request and availability.
My name is Sinthuya and I'm an Early Years educator and a mother of 3 amazing girls. My older girls are very involved in the home nursery, as is my husband who is my assistant, and they love to come in after school and join in on the fun. I have been working in schools with children for over 10 years and now specialise in Early Years education. My home nursery is inclusive and welcoming to all families and I also provide healthy cooked meals daily.
We believe that teaching kids mindfulness from a young age is very beneficial it helps builds confidence, resilience and self-regulation. We often have quiet reflection time, practise yoga, count our breaths with the hand technique and learn about our emotions through story time, our emotions stars, peg dolls and creative play such as making playdough faces.
Nothing beats learning in nature, we love to explore our local green space and have fun from scavenger hunts, storytime, collecting sticks & leaves for our artwork, and playing mud kitchen to building rafts and dens. We use natural resources to teach children to count with sticks and leaves and make alphabets with flowers & stones.
We love going on trips! Depending on what our topic is, we visit farms, aquariums, librarys, museums and more.
