Welcome to Sweetpeas Tiney Home Nursery.
Our names are Libby and Angie and we run a childminding business in KT6 (a stone throw away from Tolworth Infants School & 5 minutes from both Surbiton and Tolworth train stations by car.
After having a little girl of my own and constantly asking my mum for support with childcare while I worked, we felt that running a family business to look after our own and other children in the area was something we were keen to move forward with.
We have transformed our home into a mini nursery and offer a calm, homely environment so we can provide a more one to one service. Weekly activities would include, trips to the park, messy play, play groups, softplay, cooking, reading and general early years learning.
Angie has had over 25 years previous experience working at Kingston Hospital as a nurse.

We love animals at our setting and are ‘pro’ nature. We enjoy regular trips to the zoo and farms. We also love a good bug hunt in the garden and lots of messy play with our mud kitchen!

Libby and Angie have created the most wonderful, idyllic setting. My son loves it and we love it too! The moment we met Angie and Libby, we felt so at ease and confident with them - and my son did too! My 16 month old boy soon went from being clingy child to forgetting to say goodbye to us and running straight to Angie and Libby. They have created a space where my son can be free to express himself, be creative, feel safe, loved and cared for. Nothing is to much for the ladies. Just by seeing the smiles after a day with Angie and Libby, says to me he has had a wonderful day being cared for by two professional, passionate, attentive and generous people. Communication throughout the day is fantastic and I love seeing the pictures of my sons day of adventures. I couldn’t be more thankful for the love and care you have shown to my son and to us as first time parents. Angie and Libby are fantastic at what they do! We can’t thank you enough!

If you’re looking for a caring and nurturing environment for your child, look no further! Libby and Angie are the loveliest, most caring and kind ladies and I am so pleased they are taking care of my daughter. Being a first time parent, I was dreading finding a childminder for my daughter. However, meeting Libby and Angie instantly put my mind at ease and I knew right away I wanted them to look after my child. The setting is cosy, clean and welcoming. My daughter loves going there and I love how relaxed she is with Libby and Angie. There are lots of stimulating activities, outings, educational toys. I get regular updates with photos on my daughter’s activities throughout the day which I love and find reassuring. My daughter has lots of food allergies which makes it hard to cater to her sometimes but Libby and Angie always go the extra mile and make something yummy and nutritious for her. I couldn’t be happier with my daughter’ care and I warmly recommend Libby and Angie to anyone looking for something special for their child.

Sweet Pea’s Tiney Home Nursery Jamie started Angie and Libby’s Tiney Home Nursery post Covid, with high levels of separation anxiety. We cannot express how grateful we are to have found them - they offer the perfect balance between a childminder and a nursery setting giving him a home-from-home environment with the benefit of building relationships with other children, and them. The care, love and attention they have given to Jamie through settling and beyond has been fantastic and he now runs in (and out), so excited about his day. Days out and days at home are equally stimulating, with the flexibility to adapt to the weather and changing circumstances. The development we have seen in Jamie’s confidence has been so lovely to see and they have prepared him so well for his next step. He really feels a part of the Sweet Peas family and we are sad to be leaving. Thank you again Libby and Angie - you have been amazing.
