A happy, warm home with lots of smiles and exciting activities to discover. I’m a teacher mummy with 11+ years experience wanting to continue and help little ones on their own individual learning journey in a home from home environment!
We have a big garden with lots to explore, an open plan home and a designated play room. We are close to the train station and offer local school drop offs and pick ups.
I’ve set up my Tiney Home as I love nurturing and teaching little ones. I’ve been a teacher at a primary school for 11 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood studies and a huge interest in how their little minds work. I live with my husband (who is also a teacher) and my 2 girls (6 years and 18 months). I am half Swedish/English and an awful dancer! I love to cook home cooked meals, play funny games, sing silly songs, read lots of stories and give lots of cuddles!
I have been teaching for 11+ years - mainly in Reception (as Early Years Team Leader). Also taught in Years 1, 2 & 4. This enables me to have a great understanding of the learning journey of a child in preparation for school.
I love cooking! I have passed this interest onto my eldest daughter too. We bake and enjoy cooking together in the kitchen. I will involve the children in cooking, baking and meal preparation wherever possible offering a variety of meals. Whilst teaching the importance of health and nutrition for happy little tummies! I am Coeliac (allergic to gluten) myself so understand how carefully food allergies need to be considered.
Our garden is set up for lots of busy hands, feet and minds with a climbing frame, swing, slide, playhouse, mud kitchen and ride along toys,m. I also regularly set up tuff trays for extra exploration with water, sand, leaves and other (sometimes messy!) sensory items.

I am within walking distance to 3 parks, the village library, toddler groups and some local (off road) walks where we regularly go to feed the ducks and explore the nearby nature. We are a short driving distance from many soft plays, RHS Wisley gardens (of which I am a member).

Anni has looked after my eldest after school every Thursday for the last year and helps out with my youngest on an adhoc basis. Anni is absolutely fantastic with children. Both my boys love being at Anni’s house to the point where they don’t want to leave. She treats them as if they are one of her own. She is creative and fun and always coming up with new activities and games for them to play. She is incredibly caring and nurturing towards them so I know they are always in safe hands. We are so grateful to have found Anni and there is nobody I would trust more to look after my boys.

Anni has always been fantastic with children, from a nanny to a teacher, auntie and mother. She has a natural ability with all children no matter what age (my eldest is 11 and still likes to be around her!) They just warm towards her. She has looked after both my children for a matter of hours, for days and overnight and they always come home happy and she needs no instruction! She is kind, calm, nurturing and all you would want from someone to be taking care of and teaching your children.
