About my home

I started Charlene's Tiney Childcare to develop each child's learning and confidence in a meaningful way that is both educational and fun through play. My home nursery setting has a dedicated and enabling playroom just for children to play safely with a huge selection of sensory, creative and musical activities that are set up each day. We also have a beautiful, large outdoor space with a lovely garden for children to play and explore.

I follow the Covid-19 guidance and procedures for safety. There is a 'no mask, no entry' policy for adults for the safety of us and yourselves.

tiney book club

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.

I am near Bruce Castle Park where children can get plenty of outdoor time.

Children can also enjoy their time at Children's Play Area at Alexandra Palace which includes 'Little Dinosaurs', a soft play centre with a cafe. I also regularly visit the local library; Coombes Croft Library.
