Welcome to my tiney Home Nursery . I live in Borehamwood - Hertfordshire and we are surrounded by beautiful green areas and parks. My favourite hobby is art and I strongly believe in one of the Pablo Picasso quotes, “ Every child is an artist", with a unique talent to be unveiled though love, care and support. Our tiney Home Nursery is close to local schools, a bus stop and train station! We have a lovely separate playroom and a garden. Opening hours are 7:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. Monday to Friday.

About this home
About our tiney childminder
I have set up Little Steps to be inclusive and welcoming for all families. A place where families and children can feel safe, valued, cared for and loved. A place where children will have a wonderful time and learn new skills at the same time that will be needed for the next step. I provide home cooked meals but I am open to work in partnership with families regarding introducing new foods and avoiding allergens. As a mother of 3 Children with lactose intolerance I understand that.

My daughter has been attending Little Steps_Tiney home nursery since March. She has settled in well and enjoys the nursery. Elsa and Flavio are friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic. There’s daily activities and these are well planned and engaging. The environment is a safe and caring one. They provide regular feedback throughout the day and parent feedback is encouraged. As a result I feel involved in my daughter’s learning. They are supportive and attentive to my daughter’s needs. The meals provided are nutritious and healthy. We choose Elsa in October when we move to borehamwood. We didn’t know anyone and the experience with an other childminder was not really good. We done 3 days of induction and we were really happy with her way of operate so we decide to start this path with her. We had some hard time as my daughter was in the terrible two but Elsa manage the situation and she was able to settle her down without anymore issue. Now my daughter is happy to go and spent time with them. She help us to start the nappy transition as well and is going quite good. I’m glad I choose her!
