I’m Kath, Tiney home leader. I have a lovely husband and two gorgeous children (9 & 6). I’ve created a fabulous high quality setting within our home which has been designed to provide rich learning opportunities, encourage curiosity, independence & creativity all through play. We have 2 designated rooms, a free play playroom and a more structured room for reading and crafts. As well as a spacious living area for quiet times, naps etc. We have a spacious, safe garden with lovely resources too!

About our tiney childminder
I’ve worked in childcare for 12 years, mainly as a Nanny and I have two lovely children who are 9 and 6 :) We have created a fabulous setting to provide rich learning opportunities within our home and we can’t wait to welcome littles into our home and family! We love to get outdoors and we love wooden toys/loose parts to encourage imaginative play.

I truly believe that children’s imaginations come alive best when given the opportunity to play with and explore authentic items, loose parts and open ended resources. It’s incredible to watch how differently children play with the same item! I have worked hard to incorporate this into our play areas.
Local area
We are surrounded by beautiful parks, woodland, walks, farms and beaches which we intend to make full use of (as we already do with our own children)!
