At Fairywood Home Nursery we love to focus our day and activities on tbe environment. We are lucky to have amazing access to a lot of natural spaces here in Colchester that are in walking distance for even 'tiney' legs!
Everyday we will head outside for some fresh air and play. Whether we are putting on our suncream or our waterproofs we know we will be having fun while learning and developing new skills!

I moved to Colchester in March from London with my Fiancé and our 1 year old son (so your child will always have a playmate!)
As a previous forest school educator, I strongly believe that children thrive in the outdoors and love to watch them explore nature and their surroundings, whatever the weather (there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!)
I love to cook and bake so you can ensure your child will receive home cooked meals and snacks when in my care.
I've worked with 2-5 year olds at a forest school in London and plan to share many of the activities I learnt in this role. I've also spent two summers working at an American summer camp as a wilderness guide!
Children will learn the importance of caring for pets and how to interact gently with our two Guinea pig sisters, Chilli and Dasha!
I will always have my son with us at the setting so your child will always have someone to play and learn with. He has just turned 1 years old so you can be assured that my home is child friendly and safe.
