About our tiney childminder
I’m Nikki and I opened my Home Nursery in lockdown. I enjoy being outside and exploring nature, also providing exciting activities from the children’s very own interests. I am a passionate advocate for every child in my care and enjoy providing meaningful play activities and childhood experiences. Being a mum myself I love capturing special moments of the children to send to parents. I work alongside my mum and have a pet chug called Nellie who tends to be a great comfort for our children. 🐕🌸

A 5 minute walk to South Norwood Arena tram stop. Croydon and Beckenham / Bromley bus link across from the setting. Elmers end train station / tram stop 5 minutes away.
In this neighbourhood
On the edge of the Country Park, next to a woodland area and Ashburton playing field. We spend a lot of time outside, being active at the park and going on nature hunts. We have good transport links to get about easily.

My daughter went to Nikki’s when she was only 10 months old! She listened to all my worries and made sure that my daughter settled well. She regularly kept me up to date with pictures and messages about how she was settling in and updated me daily with everything she had done that day. Nikki is so creative and always sets up such interactive and engaging activities for the children. Her food always smelt amazing in the mornings too! I would take my daughter back in a heartbeat! She often asks to see Nikki so we enjoy visiting in the half term.

It is truly difficult to find the right words to explain how amazing Nikki is! She looked after our son from 9 months and from the moment we first visited, we knew we had come to the right place. Nikki is so caring and an absolute natural with young children. As well as this the communication she provides is above and beyond, we were always receiving photos and messages about all the fun activities our son was doing! My son went to Nikki when he turned one in 2021 and has been with her ever since. I was so nervous and struggled to find the right settling to accommodation after being in lockdown since he was born. Nikki listened to my concerns and could not have done more to make my son and I feel at ease. My son settled so quickly and now asks to go see Nikki on the days he doesn’t attend. Nikki is gentle, caring, intuitive, engaging and a very experienced Early Educator. My son is doing great with his learning and development, there are new activities everyday which works in line with the EYFS. Nikki provides a great routine to the children’s day whilst allowing them to explore their environment. I really highly recommend Nikki, we will be eternally grateful for the best possible start to my sons life that she has provided.

Simply the best! My son attended Nikki when his preschool couldn’t give us any extra days-it was perfect as Nikki is on my way to work and was able to do earlier starts. My son was very nervous but Nikki was so kind and patient! He absolutely loved his time there and regularly asks to go back and visit as he has now left for school. I couldn’t recommend Nikki enough!! She’s amazing if your looking for a kind, compassionate childminder who puts a lot of effort into the days she plans for the children so they have such fun!
