A home from home for your little ones to learn through play.
We have a child led approach to learning and have many play opportunities for the children - from baking and crafts to story time and messy play activities.
We love the outdoors and believe you can learn a lot from exploring natural materials. Creating artwork from colourful autumn leaves and planting our own little sunflowers in spring.
Rachel has worked in childcare for over 11 years. Rachel is a mother herself. Her eldest son attends Baddow Hall School and her youngest is 1.5 years. There is a friendly family cat to fuss over too.
We have a secure garden which we will use rain or shine. There is a mud kitchen and outdoor easel to spark the children’s imaginations and strengthen their physical development.
We love to get out and about and visit the local farm, parks and rhyme time at the library.
We enjoy adventures and exploring out and about. There is a lovely local farm to see animals, learn about produce in the shop and a natural play area. We also love trips to the woods, beach and playgrounds when able!
Our little Sunflowers can learn about healthy eating and use their physical and creative skills to take part in baking and cooking activities!
It is important to encourage independence at a young age from choosing some group activities to setting the table for our friends.

We are in Great Baddow, Chelmsford. There is a lovely, local farm 20 minutes away by foot. The library and park are a ten minute walk away. There is also a small soft play for under 5s which is 20 minutes from home.

Rachel has looked after my 6 year old and my 8 month old on a number of occasions and I’ve always felt they’ve been really well looked after.
