I am a strong, passionate and knowledgeable early years educator who has worked in the sector for 20+ years. Early Years is my biggest passion as I am able to initiate, facilitate and educate even the youngest children to become someone great and amazing. About our tiney childminder
At Mighty Diamonds my passion and values are to provide high quality interactions, a safe and nurturing environment, where I promote a positive sense of diversity and inclusion. I have experience working with children who are ASD and complex needs, I have had the opportunity to be trained by some of the top professionals in the sector too. My personal interests is to support and encourage every unique child to learn, grow and explore to be happy and to have a solid foundation to education.
Unique highlights
Makaton
I use Makaton in my setting with every child to support children with EAL, ASD, Communication and Language. Children enjoy learning new signs of the week and I encourage children to use Makaton to express their feelings, wants and needs.
Healthy Home cooked meals
I provide a healthy varied diet which has a vegan, vegetarian and Halal option throughout the week and on Fridays the children choose what they would like to eat. I have weekly menus displayed in my setting too.
Active stories
Active stories at Mighty Diamonds consist of going out in the environment and acting out the story the children have been learning throughout the week and really exploring the story in different ways. Offering the children to find a solution to a problem in the story, understanding the emotions of the characters and allowing the children to retell the story using/ making props and having lots of fun.

In this neighbourhood
My local area is rich with many beautiful parks, gardens, forest like environments, farms, libraries, children stay and play sessions and active stories that we will attend weekly. I have great transport links London Bridge Station, Canada Water and Elephant and Castle, buses and Uber boats. My local area has many remarkable Museums such as the HMS Belfast, Imperial war museum, Florence Nightingale museum, the many London Bridges and the extraordinary Mary Seacole statue. I have many amazing buildings and architecture locally where the children will be inspired through their construction, imaginative and creative play, the children will have opportunities to visit The Shard, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and many more. I highly promote outdoor play and activities as part of our educational goals.
