About my home

My tiney home reflects me: creative, bright, colourful and calm. I strongly believe in a healthy mind, body and spirit. I meditate & exercise often and the children can get involved. I home schooled my son for two years, so I can also help older children with their homework. I am a vegan and I love to bake so, the children will be getting their hands messy whilst enjoying the goodies they make. Children also have the opportunity to get to know our pet rabbit called Sunshine.

Unique highlights

I asked my nine year old, "What is mummy really good at that I can do with the children?" He replied,"You love drawing, painting, and making things. You're very good with your hands". Art was one of my best subjects second to English. The children will love expressing themselves in their own unique way and we have lots of resources for them.

Vegan Meals

We provide free vegan home cooked meals, all meals are freshly prepared everyday.

School Collections

We provide school pickups from 3 neighbouring schools, all in close proximity to each other they are: Leopold GR, Mitchell Brook, and St Mary's C of E primary.

Outside Spaces

Although I have a great sized garden, just a stones throw away is a large open area great for walks, picnics, bike rides etc. A park is also close by with slides, swings, climbing frames, etc and vast areas of grasslands which also includes an enclosure for playing football and an outside gym.

Pet Rabbit

We have a female rabbit called Sunshine. We believe children can learn a lot from having contact and interacting with the animals.

I home schooled my son for 2 years, so I have the experience of helping the older children with their homework after school.

We provide a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities with resources and equipment that are linked to the areas of the early learning. For example we have: a library of books, memory games, a slide, alphabet puzzles, building blocks, a play kitchen, musical instruments, dressing up, play dough, painting, water & sand table, cultural celebrations, planting bulbs, outings etc. My star activity is the dino dig which is a great learning and sensory activity. There are plenty of different dinosaurs and tools to keep the children busy for hours.

Sharing books is at the heart of all tiney home nurseries – it’s fantastic for children’s imaginations, for building vocabulary, for speaking and listening, for personal, social and emotional development, and so much more. Through our partnerships with Walker Books and the National Literacy Trust, our childminders run creative activities around a wonderfully diverse range of books.

Willesden library is a great place to take the children.

They have an in house cinema, and a museum where the children will learn about the areas past history, and the different local cultures. The library also runs workshops for both children and adults. During the summer holidays there is plenty for the children to do there.
