About this home

My home has close transport links to Bolton town centre. We are a stones throw from Longsight Park which we will take regular trips to, so the children can have plenty of exercise and fresh air. We will walk to the library at least once a week for story time and for the children to have the chance to choose a book to read, take home and look after. Currently I can offer school pick ups from St. Columba’s, St. Maxentius or Hardy Mill as these are a short walk from my home.

About our tiney childminder

I’m 35 with 3 children 13,10 and 1. I’m a calm, patient, fun and caring person. I have plenty of experience, with having my own children but also working as a childminders assistant previously. My setting is a home from home setting. I will be following the EYFS and developmental matter’s to ensure I get the best out of your child aswell as them having the freedom to just be their natural, curious selfs. A sense of self and confidence is what I feel is an important starting point for your child.

Unique highlights

Library trips.

Once a week we will take a trip to the local library where the children will get to listen to a story. They will also have the chance to select a book that they can bring home with them to enjoy and look after and then return the following week to choose another.

Termly Trips

We will aim for bigger outings such as the farm/museum/sea life etc

Weekly trip to the supermarket

All meals will be included and we will aim to go shopping together on a Monday AM to discuss the importance of healthy eating and picking foods they would like to see on their plates that week.

In this neighbourhood

I live close by to longsight park, which we will visit most days. The children will have plenty of opportunities to play on the play area to develop there physical development. I also live a short walk away from Harwood Library which we will attend every Monday for story time and will choose a book to bring home, read and look after until the following week where we will change them for a new one. We will also be attending local playgroups.
